Terms of Service
FireSat, bsv20.com and the FireSat API
Effective date: 2 December 2026
Version 1.0
Please read these Terms carefully. They are a legally binding agreement
between you and CipherVybe (OPC) Private Limited. They cover how you may use the
Services, and they contain:
- important risk disclosures (section 14);
- limits on our liability (section 17);
- how disputes are resolved (section 20).
If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
This document is an electronic record under India's Information Technology
Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. It requires no physical or digital
signature. It is published under rule 3(1) of the Information Technology
(Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
1. About these Terms
1.1 Who we are. The Services are provided by CipherVybe (OPC) Private
Limited, a company incorporated in India:
- CIN: U62010AS2025OPC027949;
- registered office: H.No. 224, F/No. 3B, Rajgarh, Bylane 10, Silpukhuri, Guwahati, Kamrup, Assam 781003, India.
In these Terms, "CipherVybe", "we", "us" and "our" mean that
company. "You" means the person using the Services.
1.2 The Services. These Terms cover the following, together called the
"Services":
- the FireSat app: the FireSat mobile apps for Android and iOS, and the
FireSat web app at app.firesat.io;
- the websites: firesat.io, and bsv20.com, including the bsv20.com
BSV-20 explorer and the FireSat Pro purchase page;
- the FireSat API at api.firesat.io, also called the BSVScan API.
1.3 Other documents. These Terms include the following by reference:
- our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle
personal data;
- any feature-specific terms we show you in the Services, such as a fee
summary before you confirm a transaction.
1.4 How you accept. You accept these Terms by doing either of the
following:
- tapping or clicking to accept them;
- creating or importing a wallet, or otherwise using the Services.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Services only if all of the following apply:
- You are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding
contract.
- Using the Services is legal where you live and where you are.
- You are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or organised under the laws
of, any country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions or embargoes.
These include those imposed by the United Nations, India or the United
States.
- You are not named on any sanctions or restricted-party list.
- We have not previously suspended you from the Services.
If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are
authorised to accept these Terms for it.
3. Your wallet and your keys
3.1 Non-custodial. FireSat is a non-custodial wallet:
- Your recovery phrase and private keys are created and stored on your
device.
- We never receive them, and we cannot access, recover, reset or replace
them.
- We never hold your BSV or tokens, and we cannot move, freeze or reverse
them.
3.2 Your responsibility. You alone are responsible for:
- keeping your recovery phrase and private keys secret and backed up
securely. Keep them offline, and never in a screenshot or shared message;
- securing your device, with a screen lock and up-to-date software;
- every transaction signed with your keys, whether or not you authorised it.
If you lose your recovery phrase, you permanently lose access to your
assets. If someone else obtains it, they can take your assets. We cannot
help in either case.
3.3 We will never ask for your recovery phrase or private keys. Anyone
asking for them is attempting a scam. This includes anyone claiming to be
FireSat support.
3.4 The web app. The FireSat web app stores your wallet in your browser's
storage on your computer. It is only as secure as your computer, your browser
and your browser extensions. We recommend the mobile apps for significant
amounts.
4. Blockchain transactions
4.1 Your transactions. When you send BSV or tokens, list, buy, cancel,
mint or deploy, the app creates a transaction on your device. Your keys sign
it there. It is then broadcast to the BSV network, through our servers or
through a third-party provider.
4.2 Irreversible. Blockchain transactions cannot be undone. Check the
recipient, the amount and the fees before you confirm. If you send assets to
the wrong address, or to an address that cannot spend them, they are lost.
4.3 Pending is not final. A transaction is "pending" until it is included
in a block. Until then, any of the following may happen:
- it may be rejected or dropped;
- it may be replaced by a conflicting transaction (a double spend);
- it may stay unconfirmed for a long time.
Blocks can also be reorganised. We show pending activity as a convenience. It
is not a guarantee.
4.4 We do not control the network. We do not control:
- the BSV blockchain;
- the miners and nodes that process transactions;
- the fees they charge;
- how quickly they confirm transactions.
Network rules and software can change, such as through a fork or upgrade, in
ways we cannot predict.
5. BSV-20 tokens and our index
5.1 What a BSV-20 token is. A BSV-20 token is a record written to the BSV
blockchain under the community BSV-20 protocol. Tokens are created by third
parties, not by us. We do not issue, sponsor, endorse or guarantee any
token. A token being listed, curated or shown in the Services does not mean we
recommend it.
5.2 Our index. Token balances and validity are not enforced by the BSV
network itself. They are calculated by indexers that read the blockchain and
apply the protocol's rules. The Services show balances, listings and activity
as calculated by our indexer:
- Other indexers or wallets may interpret the protocol differently and show
different results.
- Our index may contain errors or be delayed.
- We may correct errors or change how we apply the protocol. This may change
the balances, history or validity shown for a token or address.
5.3 Token information. Token names, icons, links and descriptions may be
supplied by token teams or other users. We may review or curate this
information. We do not verify that it is accurate, and we are not responsible
for third-party websites it links to.
6. The marketplace
6.1 Peer-to-peer. The FireSat marketplace lets users list BSV-20 tokens
for sale and buy listings, directly from each other on the blockchain:
- We are not a party to any trade.
- We do not act as a broker, agent, exchange or counterparty.
- We do not hold the tokens or the payment.
- We do not guarantee that any trade will complete.
6.2 Listings are on-chain offers. When you list tokens, the app publishes
an offer on the blockchain:
- Anyone can accept it by paying your price. They can do this through FireSat
or through other software.
- To cancel a listing, you need an on-chain transaction. A purchase
broadcast before your cancellation is confirmed may still succeed.
- Prices are set by sellers. We do not set or guarantee prices.
6.3 Buying. Before you confirm a purchase, check the token, the quantity
and the total price. Another buyer may take a listing before your purchase
confirms. If that happens, your transaction will fail and you may still pay
network fees.
6.4 Charts and statistics. Prices, volumes, charts, holdings, profit and
loss and leaderboards are calculated from on-chain data and our index. They
are provided for information only. They may be incomplete, delayed or wrong.
7. Fees
7.1 Service fees. We charge service fees on some actions. Currently:
- when you buy a listing: a fee calculated as a percentage of the purchase
price;
- when you mint tokens: a fee for each mint.
We charge no service fee for receiving, sending or transferring BSV or
tokens. You pay only the network fee (section 7.2).
The fee is included in the transaction and shown to you before you confirm
it. By confirming, you agree to pay it. We may change our fees at any time.
Changes do not affect transactions you have already confirmed.
7.2 Network fees. Every transaction also pays a network fee to BSV miners.
We do not receive network fees and cannot refund them.
7.3 No refunds. Service fees and network fees are included in blockchain
transactions. Once a transaction is broadcast, they cannot be refunded,
even if the transaction later fails, the listing was taken by someone else, or
the token loses value.
7.4 Taxes. Fees include any taxes we are required to collect, unless shown
otherwise. You are solely responsible for your own taxes on your use of the
Services and your transactions. In India, this includes:
- income tax on transfers of virtual digital assets;
- any obligation to deduct tax at source that applies to you.
8. FireSat Pro
8.1 What it is. FireSat Pro is a badge shown on a FireSat profile. You buy
it once, with a payment in BSV, through the purchase page on bsv20.com:
- It is cosmetic. It does not verify identity, and it does not indicate
that we endorse or trust the profile.
- It gives no financial rights, ownership or investment return.
8.2 How a purchase works.
- Each purchase request has its own payment address and price.
- The request is valid for 24 hours. Payments that arrive up to 6 hours after
it expires still count.
- Pro is granted when one transaction pays at least the full price to that
address. Payments split across several transactions, or smaller than the
price, do not grant Pro.
- Pro appears once the payment is seen on the network.
8.3 When Pro is removed. Pro is removed if:
- the payment disappears from the network, for example because it was double
spent;
- the payment is not confirmed in a block within 72 hours.
8.4 Buying for others. You may buy Pro for any FireSat profile, including
someone else's. The badge belongs to the profile it was bought for. It cannot
be moved to another profile or address.
8.5 "Lifetime". Pro lasts for as long as the profile exists and we operate
the Pro feature. Pro is permanently removed, and is not refundable, if:
- the profile owner deletes their account data;
- we remove Pro or suspend the profile for breaking these Terms.
If we permanently discontinue the Pro feature, we will give at least 30 days'
notice on our websites.
8.6 Refunds. Pro payments are final, except in these cases:
- you paid more than once for the same profile;
- you paid after a request expired and did not receive Pro.
In either case, contact us within 30 days with the transaction ID. If we can
verify the payment, we will either grant Pro or refund the excess amount, less
network fees, to an address you control.
9. Profiles and community features
9.1 Optional. Profiles, chat, follows, reactions, feeds, leaderboards,
invites and share pages are optional. You do not need them to use the wallet.
9.2 Usernames.
- Usernames are unique.
- They must be 3 to 20 characters, using lowercase letters, numbers and
underscores, and contain at least one letter.
- Some names are reserved and cannot be claimed. These include brand names,
staff and support names, common crypto terms, and names that look like
them.
- After your first change, you can change your username once every 24
hours.
- We may remove, change or reclaim a username that impersonates someone,
infringes a trademark or other rights, misleads people, or otherwise breaks
these Terms.
9.3 Badges.
- We may grant badges, such as "official", "project" or "notable", and
revoke them at any time.
- A changed username may cause a badge to be shown as under review until we
check it.
- Some badges are added automatically from on-chain activity.
9.4 Public by design. Profiles, chat messages (with the posting wallet
address), follows, reactions, leaderboards and share pages are public. Our
Privacy Policy explains exactly what is visible and the
privacy settings available to you. Do not post anything you want to keep
private.
9.5 Your content. You keep ownership of what you post: profile details,
your profile picture, chat messages and token information ("Your
Content"). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to
host, store, reproduce, display and distribute Your Content. This licence:
- covers its use in the Services and in share pages and previews of them;
- lets us adapt the format of Your Content, for example resizing images;
- ends when Your Content is deleted. It continues only for copies that others
have already shared, copies that remain in backups for a short time, and
copies we must keep by law.
9.6 Your promises about Your Content. You confirm that:
- you have the rights to post Your Content;
- it is accurate where it states facts;
- it complies with these Terms and the law.
10. Community rules and acceptable use
10.1 Content you must not post. You must not host, display, upload,
publish, transmit, share or store any content that:
- belongs to another person and to which you have no right;
- is obscene, pornographic or paedophilic, or invades another person's
privacy, including bodily privacy;
- insults or harasses anyone on the basis of gender, or is racially or
ethnically objectionable;
- relates to or encourages money laundering or gambling;
- promotes enmity between groups on grounds of religion or caste with intent
to incite violence;
- is harmful to children;
- infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;
- deceives or misleads people about the origin of a message, or knowingly
spreads information that is patently false or misleading;
- impersonates another person, project or organisation, including us;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India,
friendly relations with foreign states or public order, or incites any
cognisable offence, or prevents the investigation of any offence, or
insults any other nation;
- contains viruses or other code designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the
functionality of any computer resource;
- promotes an online game that is not permitted under Indian law;
- violates any law in force.
10.2 Things you must not do. You must not:
- scam or defraud others. This includes fake giveaways, phishing links,
requests for recovery phrases or private keys, fake support accounts, and
tokens or listings designed to deceive buyers;
- manipulate markets or our statistics, for example with pump-and-dump
schemes, coordinated price manipulation, or wash trading to inflate volume,
rankings or badges;
- harass, threaten, dox or abuse anyone, or encourage others to;
- post spam, repetitive messages or unsolicited advertising;
- create profiles or use invites in bulk, or in other ways that abuse
invites, rankings or notifications;
- use the Services to launder money, finance terrorism, evade sanctions or
commit any other crime;
- attack the Services. This includes:
- probing, scanning or testing their vulnerability without our written
permission;
- getting around rate limits, security or access controls;
- interfering with other users;
- scrape or collect data from the Services except through the API and within
its limits;
- copy, modify, reverse-engineer or create derivative works of the apps,
except as open-source licences or the law allow.
10.3 Reporting. You can report profiles, messages and tokens in the app.
You can also email us (section 21).
11. Moderation, suspension and termination
11.1 Our moderation tools. To keep the Services safe and comply with the
law, we may, at our discretion and without prior notice, take any of these
actions:
- hide or remove content;
- hide a profile;
- remove a username or badge;
- remove token information or a token from curated lists;
- limit or suspend access to our off-chain features, such as profiles, chat,
notifications or the API, for any address, device or network;
- report illegal activity to the authorities.
We generally tell you the reason when we hide your profile. We are not obliged
to monitor content. We act on reports, court orders and lawful government
requests within the time the law requires.
11.2 What suspension does not do. We cannot freeze or take your assets.
Suspension only affects the features we operate. Your keys still control your
assets on the blockchain.
11.3 Leaving. You can stop using the Services at any time. You can delete
your account data in the app (see the Privacy Policy). Uninstalling the app
does not delete data on our servers. Deleting your account data does not
delete your wallet. Keep your recovery phrase if you want to use the wallet
again.
11.4 What survives. Sections 3.2, 4.2, 5, 7.3, 7.4, 9.5 and 13 to 22
continue to apply after these Terms end.
12. The FireSat API
12.1 Using the API. You may use the public API at api.firesat.io to build
your own apps and services, subject to these Terms and to all of the
following:
- Rate limits. We set rate limits for anonymous use and for each API key
tier, and may change them. Do not get around them, for example by rotating
IP addresses or keys.
- API keys. Keys are personal to the person or organisation we issued
them to. Keep yours secret. We may revoke a key at any time, including for
abuse or inactivity.
- No guarantees. The API and its data are provided "as is". We do not
guarantee any uptime, response time or support level. We may change or
retire endpoints. Where reasonable, we will give advance notice in the API
documentation.
- Your users. You are responsible for your application and its users. You
must not suggest that we endorse your application. You must handle any
personal data you obtain lawfully.
13. Intellectual property
13.1 What we own. The Services, including their software, design, text,
graphics, icons, animations and the FireSat and bsv20.com names and logos, are
owned by us or our licensors. They are protected by intellectual property
laws.
13.2 Your licence. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited,
personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the apps
and websites for your own use.
13.3 Open-source software. Some parts of the apps are open-source software
under their own licences. Those licences apply to those parts.
13.4 Feedback. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them
without restriction or payment to you.
14. Risks you accept
Using crypto-assets and blockchain software involves significant risk. By
using the Services, you accept these risks:
- Volatility and loss of value. Token and BSV prices can change sharply.
They can fall to zero. Many tokens have little or no liquidity, so you may
be unable to sell.
- Irreversibility and loss of keys. Mistaken, unauthorised or fraudulent
transactions cannot be reversed. Lost keys cannot be recovered.
- Scams. Some tokens, listings, links and users are fraudulent.
- Software risk. The app, our indexer, the BSV-20 protocol, the BSV node
software and third-party services may contain bugs, fail or be attacked.
- Index differences. Other indexers may disagree with ours about balances
or token validity (section 5.2).
- Regulatory change. Laws and taxes on crypto-assets in India and
elsewhere are evolving. They may restrict or prohibit some activities, or
affect their value or tax treatment.
- Network risk. The BSV network may be congested, reorganised, forked or
changed. Network fees may rise.
15. No advice
We do not provide investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Nothing in the
Services is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. This includes
prices, charts, rankings, curated lists, badges, feeds and leaderboards. Make
your own decisions, and consult a professional if needed.
16. Third-party services
The Services rely on or link to services we do not control. These include:
- blockchain data providers;
- push notification services;
- app stores;
- token websites and social networks.
Your use of them may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible
for their content, availability or practices.
17. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
17.1 Disclaimers. To the extent permitted by law, the Services are
provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties of any kind,
whether express or implied. In particular, we do not warrant:
- merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose;
- non-infringement;
- accuracy, or that the Services will be available, timely, secure or free of
errors.
17.2 What we are not liable for. To the extent permitted by law, we are
not liable for any of the following:
- loss of, or inability to access, your keys, recovery phrase or assets,
unless caused by our wilful misconduct;
- transactions you sign, including mistaken or fraudulent ones;
- the actions of other users, token issuers, miners or third-party services;
- failures, delays, forks or changes of the BSV network or the BSV-20
protocol;
- errors or delays in our index, prices or statistics;
- changes in the value of any asset;
- indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages;
- loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
17.3 Cap on our liability. Our total liability for all claims relating to
the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:
- the service fees and Pro payments you paid to us in the 12 months before
the claim arose;
- INR 10,000.
17.4 What these limits do not affect. Nothing in these Terms limits or
excludes any liability, or any of your rights as a consumer, that cannot
legally be limited or excluded. This includes rights under India's Consumer
Protection Act, 2019, or the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
18. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us, our directors and our staff for any losses,
liabilities and reasonable costs, including legal fees, arising from third
parties' claims about:
- your breach of these Terms;
- Your Content;
- your violation of any law or of the rights of another person.
19. Changes to the Services and to these Terms
19.1 The Services. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue any part of
the Services at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of major
changes.
19.2 These Terms.
- We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new
effective date.
- For material changes, we will notify you in the app or on our websites
before they take effect.
- If you continue to use the Services after that, you accept the updated
Terms.
- We will remind you of these Terms at least once a year.
20. Governing law and disputes
20.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
20.2 Talk to us first. Before starting any legal proceedings, please
contact us (section 21) and give us 30 days to try to resolve the issue.
20.3 Courts. Subject to section 20.4, the courts at Guwahati, Assam,
India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to these Terms or
the Services.
20.4 Your rights as a consumer. These Terms do not affect any right you
have to bring a complaint before a consumer commission in India. If you are a
consumer elsewhere, they also do not affect any mandatory consumer-protection
rights under the laws of your country of residence.
